The Conveni has begun its release as this week’s title in Hamster Corporation’s Console Archives line of emulated titles from classic consoles for modern formats, following last week’s release of Hercules no Eikou II Taitan no Metsubou, on which we reported previously.
Hamster Corporation is certainly dogging deep into the obscurities for this week’s releases in both its Console Archives and Arcade Archives lines, with racing armadillos in Arcade Archives, as we reported earlier, and convenience store management in the Console Archives!
Yes, The Conveni is a convenience store management sim, and it was first released by Human on PlayStation back in 1997.
Hamster Corporation describes The Conveni as follows: “This simulation game lets you experience the management of a convenience store, from assessing the actions of rival stores, local needs, and product demands, to managing the entire business and conducting sales activities such as in-store sales. Let’s take a good look at your “convenience store business sense”!! Enjoy the experience of running your usual convenience store from a management perspective.”
The Console Archives version of The Conveni releases onto Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 from today, priced at $11.99 USD or local equivalent, though the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game does not appear to be live at the time of writing.
