Crash Live is the annual live gaming show held by Fusion Retro Books, dedicated to all things ZX Spectrum. The Crash Live shows are a spin-off form Crash magazine, Fusion Retro Books’ monthly publication dedicated to the ZX Spectrum, which they revived in 2020, after its original run ended in 1992.
Crash Live 2025 promises twice as much Speccy fun as previous events, as Crash Live 2025 will run over two days, rather than the single day of previous years’ events.
Crash Live 2025 will take place in the Holiday Inn hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, UK on November 15th and 6th 2025. The event is being held in collaboration with The Retro Computer Museum and the event sponsors, Arcade Club.
Crash Live 2025 will open at 9am on both the Saturday and Sunday, and will close at 6pm on Saturday, and 5:30pm on Sunday.
As you might expect, Crash Live will mostly be a celebration of Sinclair machines, such as the ZX Spectrum, and there will be over 100 Sinclair systems set up on which you play games, and every Sinclair system will be represented from the ZX80 up to the PC 200. In addition to these machines, there will be additional Sinclair related areas, including an Adventure Zone, and A Celebration of Music/Sound Zone.
In addition to the Sinclair-focused areas, other formats will also be represented at Crash Live 2025, in the Fusion Zone, based on Retro Fusion Books; multiformat magazine, as well as an Arcade Room with a selection of arcade machines supplied by Arcade Club, and also a selection of pinball machines.
The full guest list is yet to be announced, but Retro Games Ltd., who released The Spectrum plug & play machine last year will be at the event with a new, as yet unspecified product. Other confirmed guests include Malcolm Evans (Trashman), and Sandy White (Ant Attack), with many more to be announced. You can find out more about Crash Live 2025 and book tickets at the Crash Live website.
