Cuphead Demake Heads to Game Boy

Cuphead is the latest modern game to be getting the demake treatment from Game Boy Demakes, on who’s previous demakes for Game Boy we have previously reported, such as Overcooked, Another Code, and Plants vs. Zombies.

Game Boy Demakes has previewed his Game Boy demake of Cuphead on X, with the Game Boy and Analogue Pocket files of the demake now available to download on Game Boy DemakesPatreon page, which requires (free) membership to access.

Originally released in 2017, initially for Xbox One and PC, before being ported to other formats, with its run’n’ gun gameplay and retro cartoon graphics, the notoriously difficult Cuphead should be a good fit for Game Boy, and what we’ve seen of the Game Boy demake of Cuphead so far is certainly looking very promising!

As well as being able to access the Cuphead Game Boy demake at Game Boy Demakes’ Patreon page, where you can also access Game Boy Demakes’ previous projects. While free membership to the Patreon gets you access to the ROMs, by paying $1 or $5 per month, you will also get access to bonus materials, as well as getting to vote on future projects, and getting you name in the credits of future projects.
