In an exciting development for Neo Geo fans, the upcoming DaemonClaw is now available for pre-order. The game is a traditional side-scrolling action game in development for the Mega Drive, Neo Geo and PC. DaemonClaw has been getting ready for its expected April 2025 release following a successful crowdfunding campaign from developer Neofid Technology.
The Kickstarter campaign offered a chance to buy physical carts of both the Mega Drive and Neo Geo versions of DaemonClaw, but it quickly sold out. Those who may have missed out on securing a copy of either the Neo Geo AES or MVS carts can breathe a sigh of relief as retro publisher PixelHeart has opened up pre-orders for the Neo Geo port.
The new edition is still highly limited, with only 300 copies available for each version. Eager arcade gamers can pre-order a US or Japanese AES cart as well as a US or Japanese MVS cart. The package includes shock boxes, certificates and the classic Neo Geo manual in a baggie. Just like with the original crowdfunding campaign, these will most likely sell out quickly, so any Neo Geo collectors will need to get in quickly.
