Back in February, we reported that Red art Games was set to releases physical editions of their Super Bomberman Collection this August. However, August came and went, and the physical versions of the collection remained unreleased.
But now, Red Art Games has good news for fans of Hudson Soft’s bomb-happy fellow, as the Super Bomberman Collecton standard and deluxe physical editions are now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, across North America and Europe, and from redartgames.com, with the Nintendo Switch 2 versions set to follow on October 16, 2026, and the Super Bomberman Collection Collector’s Edition set to follow a little later, on October 30, 2026.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the Super Bomberman Collection will be a redartgames.com exclusive in Europe and a VGP exclusive in North America.
Developed by Red Art Games and published digitally by Konami, the Super Bomberman Collection compiles the five Super Bomberman games that were originally released for the Super Nintendo, two of which have never been released outside of Japan until now. The compilation also offers extra content, including the first ever Western release of the puzzle spin-off Super Bomberman Panic Bomber W, on which we reported previously, as well as a new boss rush mode, a music player with songs from all six Super Bomberman games, a gallery featuring hundreds of art pieces, and numerous quality of life features, such as save states and rewind.
