We first reported on Delvirium, a new multiplayer pixel art explorer title from Sagestone Games, earlier this year when a Steam demo dropped. Now, players can dig into an early access release on September 22nd, 2026, following over 80,000 wishlists on Steam. Delverium is supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Games Grants and the Australian Government through Screen Australia‘s Games Production Fund.
The game is a survival sandbox fantasy adventure for up to eight players, blending exploration, farming, crafting, settlement building, and dungeon crawling in a vast procedurally generated world. Players gather resources, build shelters, tend crops, recruit NPCs, and venture into dangerous dungeons as they explore the land, push deeper into the unknown, and uncover a dark secret.
“Delverium began as a passion project for my family and me to play together due to our shared love of co-op gaming,” says primary developer Scott Lowther. “With the help of a supportive community, Delverium has continued to grow into something special, and we are excited to share our Early Access release date. We sincerely hope players appreciate the care and love that have gone into development and help us continue to shape Delverium‘s future.”
