We’ve been following the release of Doloc Town, a pixel art farming sim from publisher Logoi Games and developer RedSaw Games Studio, since its initial release into early access on Steam last year. Now, the final major update is about to be released before the game is officially released in a complete state. Over the past year in early access, Doloc Town has continued to expand through major updates adding animal husbandry, fish farming, townie side quests, festivals, and a gene system. Following the game’s recently celebrated first early access anniversary, this latest update delivers one of the community’s most requested features yet: full mod support through Steam Workshop.
“We’ve spent the past year watching players turn Doloc Town into something far more personal than we ever imagined, and workshop support is our way of giving that creativity even more room to grow,” said developer team at RedSaw Games “After all the feedback, support, and creativity we’ve seen throughout early access, we feel ready to move into the next stage of development and are excited for what’s ahead with the upcoming 1.0 release.”
Key features in the Doloc Town update:
Full Steam Workshop Integration: Create, browse, and subscribe to community mods, from new items and crops to custom recipes and resources.
Workshop Mod Contest: A month-long community event with Steam gift card prizes for the top three most-subscribed mods.
New Vector Font Option: A high-readability alternative for players who prefer a cleaner text display.
Bug Fixes & Gameplay Optimizations: Various stability and quality-of-life improvements.
