Eldritch Escape is a new roguelike title from developer Krystone Games and publisher Human Qube. The game is still in development with no confirmed release, but the developers have invited those interested in paytesting the latest build of Eldritch Escape to get in touch via the Steam page. The playtest is set to start on May 22nd, 2026, and will “offer a substantial slice of the core experience”, according to Krytsone Games.

Secondary Weapons: Find unique weapons during expeditions that shake up your strategy as your strategy evolves.

Settlement Growth: Expand your base to unlock new vendors, tasks, and powerful meta-progression upgrades.
Tasks: Complete tasks for NPCs to earn rewards like resources, characters, and equipment.
Hand-Crafted Worlds: Each world is uniquely designed, filled with NPCs, vendors, places of power, loot, hidden areas, and unique bosses.
Extraction: Retreat to the settlement with your loot, or risk losing it all. If you die, you’ll have to retrieve your dropped loot on your next run—or it’s gone forever!
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: Quick to jump into, with depth in character interactions, weapons, and modules that reveal themselves over time.
