FleaRun! has been released as this month’s Evercade Game of the Month, replacing last month’s Evercade Game of the Month title, which was the Master System RPG ReSeCom, as we reported previously.
This month’s title, FleaRun!, is a precision platformer that was originally developed for the NES, and as you might have ascertained from its name, FleaRun! is the latest entry in LowTek Games’ Flea! series. Both of the earlier Flea! games have also previously been released on Evercade, with the original Flea! being featured as an Evercade Highlight of the Month a little over a year ago, as we reported at the time.
As always, this month’s Evercade Game of the Month is available to play (in full) for free to all Evercade VS, Evercade EXP and Evercade Alpha owners, with the Evercade Nexus set to join that list later this month. To access the Evercade Game of the Month, owners of compatible Evercade devices simply need to update their machines with the latest system software. Them the game will remain playable until the system software is updated again.
All of this year’s Evercade Game of the Month titles will then be compiled on the Indie Indie Heroes 5 cartridge, which is set to be released early next year.
