Neo Geo Fast Striker set for Switch

Fast Striker EX is an enhanced version of the Neo Geo homebrew shoot ‘em up Fast Striker, and it’s set to launch onto Nintendo Switch on September 26th, 2025.
The game is a 2D CGI arcade shooting game with emphasis on scoring. In the game, the player can choose between four game modes with different scoring systems and designs. The game offers six stages of 2D arcade gameplay with over 40 unique enemy types, and huge CGI bosses. The game will also offer a constant frame rate of 60 FPS, and a difficulty rank system.

Fast Striker EX for Nintendo Switch is the first version of the game to offer all graphics and animations intact, full autofire, added stage and boss select for training, normalized diagonal player movement, increased player fast strike shield endurance, improved background contrasts, additional background layer graphics, 32-bit like graphic updates, and hundreds of small fixes tio the original game.

Fast Striker was originally published for the Neo Geo MVS in 2010, and prior to this new enhanced Switch port in the form of Fast Striker EX, it was also ported to Dreamcast, Neo Geo AES, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.

Fast Striker EX will be available as a digital download from the Nintendo eshop.
