The Gaelco Sports Collection was one of the titles announced during QUByte Interactive’s QUByte ReConnect 2026 showcase for retro game re-releases, on which we reported previously, and which was held yesterday (June 18th, 2026).
The new Gaelco Sports Collection will compile five of Gaelco’s arcade sports titles from the 1990s, namely: the racing games World Rally Championship (1993), and World Rally 2 (1995);the snowboarding game Snowboard Championship (1996); the volleyball game Touch and Go (1995); and the imaginatively titled squash game Squash (1992).
In addition to the five games, the Gaelco Sports Collection will also include bonus materials comprising of scans of original game manuals, historic concept art, and promotional materials.
The Gaelco Sports Collection will be released via QUByte Interactive’s QUByte Classics line on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4&5, and Xbox One & Series X|S later this year.
As per the recently announced new Crazy Taxi game, on which we reported previously, QUByte Interactive has declared on the game’s Steam page that that generative AI has been used in the production of the game, but only to “modernize the original promotional images for the games.”
Also announced during the QUByte ReConnect showcase were additions of PS1 titles to two previous QUByte Classics releases, as we reported earlier today.
