Game Boy-inspired twin-stick shooter Slimekeep out now

Slimekeep is a new twin-stick dungeon crawler from developer BenBonk. The game is out now on Steam with a 20% off release promotion. Slimekeep is a fast-paced action roguelike that gives a lot of freedom to the player by focusing on decision-making. Each level is procedurally generated with an overall quest to stop the Slime KIng who has brought a spread of corruption to the world.

In Slimekeep, every slime will grow over time. You can decide between letting slimes grow for more resources, at the cost of them becoming more powerful. Or, if you’d like, kill off the slimes early, providing fewer resources, but making for an easier and less risky fight. All of this with an array of over 80 unique weapons and upgrades. There is also the opportunity to have a Slime Pet to nurture, as well as five unique bosses to encounter.

BenBonk is an indie game developer who has been developing games since 2017. After honing his skills with a series of smaller games, BenBonk set off to create Slimekeep, his first commercial release. Since starting development, BenBonk has documented his journey with game development and Slimekeep on his YouTube Channel, which has since gained over 75,000 subscribers and 8 million views on his game development focused content.
