GBA side-scroller Ninja Five-O heading to consoles and PC

Ninja Five-O is a 2003 Game Boy Advance side-scrolling action game released by Konami and developed by Hudson Soft. It was well-received by critics and players alike on release and now news has come through of a re-release for PlayStation, Switch and Steam. The game is out on 25th February 2025 but those keen to get their ninja skills on can pre-order now.

Harness the full power of Ninjutsu as Joe Osugi, a detective in Zipangu city determined to rid the streets of a vicious terrorist organization influenced by mythical masks. Players can utilize a wide array of sword strikes, shuriken throws, and grappling-hook attack combinations to stop train hijackings, bank robberies, and more.

Ninja Five-O will have new features and classic modes. There is also a new time trial mode where already cleared stages can be replayed against the clock. Each stage will have a time target, where the objective is to clear the stage before the allotted time is up. Modern features have been added to the emulator including save states at any time. Players will also be able to rewind the game for a short time to help get through tough stages.
