Gremlin Graphics Classics is a forthcoming book exploring 30 of the ZX Spectrum titles published by the software house Gremlin Graphics, which published many titles during its life, between 1984 and 2003, primarily for 8-bit and 16-bit formats.
The book is to be published by Retro Fusion Books, which has previously published a number of other books based on beloved software houses of the past, such as its Memories of Rainbird and Beyond Software book, on which reported previously.
The Gremlin Graphics Classics book will be an A4, 68-page, perfect bound publication, and it will cover 30 of Gremlin Graphics‘ classic games, with restored artwork displayed on the right hand side of the each spread for each of the featured games.
Gremlin Graphics Classics will launch at next month’s Crash Live! event in the UK, on which we’ve reported previously, with a limited number of copies of the book now available to pre-order via the Fusion Retro Books website, with pre-ordered books set to be sent out in late Ovtober, the week after Crash Live!
Gremlin Graphics launched in 1984, and it polished games until 2003, when the company was dissolved, and its assets were acquired by Zoo Digital, later to be re-acquired by Gremlin cofounder Ian Stewart’s new company, Urbanscan.
