New Hellraiser: Revival Trailer Shows The Genesis Configuration Tool

We’ve been following the release of Hellraiser: Revival, a new first-person action title based on the classic horror movies. In the latest gameplay trailer, the Genesis Configuration has been revealed. It’s a powerful tool used for combat and puzzle-solving within the game and can reshape the environment itself, revealing hidden paths and unlocking new routes ahead. While we don’t have a confirmed release date, the collector’s edition of Hellraiser: Revival can still be pre-ordered directly from Boss Team Games.

Players can use the full power of the Genesis Configuration in combat and banish their enemies with gruesome executions to gather their Suffering and unleash a variety of abilities. Players will also use Telekinesis to launch saw blades, rail spikes, and more at enemies to maim and dismember them. They’ll wield Pyrokinesis to absorb incandescent fire to burn away foes and the environment. And summon forth the iconic Hell Chains to tear their opponents apart without mercy.

In a press statement, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games said. “From the beginning of the Hellraiser saga, fans have come to fear the Lament Configuration: the legendary puzzle box that summons Hell’s demonic beings of torment: Pinhead and the Cenobites. But in Today’s new gameplay trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the survival-horror action game coming this year to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games, you’ll witness the awesome power of a totally new box that’s yours to command: the Genesis Configuration!”
