We last reported on Hungry Horrors, a card-based adventure inspired by British and Irish folklore, from developer Clumsy Bear Studio, earlier this year. At the time, Hungry Horrors was getting ready to launch into Steam Early Access. Now, the developer has announced that the game is ready for its full 1.0 launch on October 13th, 2026, following feedback that has given Hungry Horrors a 98% positive rating on Steam.
Hungry Horrors is a card-based deck-building adventure inspired by British & Irish folklore, where players face down terrifying creatures not to defeat them, but to feed them. Every card played is a meal served, and each encounter is a race to keep a Horror fed before it reaches you and feeds on you instead.
