We first reported on Lostbound, a new Zelda-style action adventure title from developer Tenkarider and publisher Tambù Digital, a couple of months ago. Since then, a new demo, accompanied by a new trailer, has dropped just in time for Steam Next Fest. Blending retro-inspired exploration with high-stakes roguelite progression, Lostbound challenges players to find the lost artefacts while being relentlessly pursued by a mysterious force known only as The Hand. Every decision matters as the world crumbles behind you, paths disappear, and survival becomes a race against time.
Available throughout Steam Next Fest, the demo offers players their first chance to experience the opening region of Lostbound, uncover powerful artifacts, experiment with multiple weapons, and begin shaping their own playstyle through a range of permanent upgrades. Players can also choose between Adventure Mode and Campaign Mode, offering two distinct ways to experience the journey and tackle the dangers ahead.
At the heart of Lostbound is The Hand, an ever-present threat that constantly reshapes the adventure. Darkness spreads across the world with every step, destroying locations and limiting safe routes forward. Venture too far into the shadows, and players will find themselves trapped within dangerous dungeons where powerful rewards await, but lingering too long risks drawing the attention of The Hand itself. Every run becomes a delicate balance between exploration, risk, and survival as the world slowly disappears around you.
