Marvel Cosmic Invasion is set to get two new DLC packs this year, with the first adding X-Men’s Cyclops and Fantastic Four’s The Thing as playable characters, and available now for $3.99. According to publisher DotEmu, Marvel Cosmic Invasion has had “more than 1.5 million players” and has been well received by players, especially on Steam, where the pixel art brawler holds a 88% positive rating. The second update, due for release later in 2026, will include an all-new game mode as well as more playable characters being added to the growing roster.
The Thing: The Fantastic Four’s heaviest hitter brings his cosmic radiation-induced might to the fray, excelling in Marvel Cosmic Invasion as a grappling-focused powerhouse.
