Pixel Art Shooter MineGeon: Renegades Blasts New Demo Before Release

MineGeon: Renegades is a new co-op sci-fi bullet-hell from developer Kickstone Studios, due to be released on Steam on July 14th, 2026. Before the release, a new demo has been released to coincide with the latest Steam Next Fest.

In MineGeon: Renegades, players can team up with up to two friends and venture into the depths of the mysterious planet PAIMO. They’ll fight off the relentless Scavengers that are trying to prevent them from exploring further, combine weapons and gadgets to create unique synergies, descend further to discover riches, and uncover the secrets that lie within.

New Additions to the Steam Next Fest Demo:

Marshall, a brand-new playable class: Enter the Minegeon as Marshall, a tank-class fighter with high durability and a unique ultimate ability that unleashes devastating fist-to-fist combat.

Three new mini-bosses: Encounter dangerous new enemies that add fresh challenges to your expeditions through PAIMO.

New Gadgets and Ultimates: Discover additional combat tools and powerful abilities to expand your build options during every run.

New Enhancements: Experiment with new upgrades that further customize your character and shape your playstyle.

Ship Basement Access and Base Decoration: Unlock access to the ship’s basement, purchase props, and customize your base between expeditions.

New Cooking System: Collect ingredients throughout the MineGeon and prepare meals that provide valuable buffs for future runs.
