A brand-new Mega Man comic book has just launched and is seeking funds through a Kickstarter campaign to bring the vision to life. The crowdfunding has already hit over $60,000 of the original $20,000 target and means that Mega Man: Bot in the Family will be published in hardback. The comic book has been created by NF Publishing, which previously released Hand-Drawn Game Guides: Mega Man.
Mega Man: Bot in the Family is officially licensed by Capcom and is expected to be shipped to customers by May 2027. There are plenty of options to choose from, with the cheapest being a digital-only copy, right through to special packs with lots of extra Mega Man goodies. As it stands, no extra content is planned for different tiers of funding being hit, but the book looks good enough as it is without needing any more items.
This 200+ page hardcover book will feature comics spanning the entire 40-year history of the Mega Man series, with separate chapters devoted to each mainline game in the Classic series. Celebrate the Blue Bomber’s storied history in a fun new way with Mega Man: Bot in the Family, coming to you just in time to coincide with the series’ 40th anniversary in 2027.
