Delve Survivors is a new pixel art dungeon crawler from developer iDiOSLAB and publisher NGJ. It’s due for release later in 2026 on Steam and consoles, and, according to the dev, is “an ambitious new dungeon-crawling adventure that blends the DNA of classic old-school roguelikes with the fast-paced thrills of modern survivor-style games”. Delve Survivors will be making a special appearance at Gamescom after making a good impression at several Japanese gaming events.
Unlike traditional action-heavy survivors games, players control the pace of battle. They’ll move on a grid, with every action advancing time. Attacks trigger automatically when they engage enemies, while skills run on turn-based cooldowns. Position carefully, unleash devastating attacks, apply status effects, summon allies, and fight through ever-growing hordes. For retro-game fans and newcomers alike, Delve Survivors offers endless replayability, with every run bringing new challenges, discoveries, and reasons to delve deeper.
iDiOSLAB CEO Shigeki Takeuchi said. “We decided to come to Gamescom, along with this first announcement in the West, after presenting the game in Japan at some events and were thrilled and excited by the public and media reaction, which was exceedingly positive!”
