Pocket Bravery console ports announced for next month

Pocket Bravery is an award-nominated fighting game released on PC in 2023 and is now set to be ported to PlayStation, Xbox and Switch with a release date confirmed for the 10th of April 2025. Pocket Bravery is a pixel-art love letter to classic 90s fighting games inspired by legendary fighting titles such as Street Fighter and King of Fighters.

It features fast-paced combat, a unique elemental system, and crisp pixel-art visuals that capture the golden era of arcade brawlers. Pocket Bravery also has a diverse roster of fighters, each with its own style and special moves to master and has been developed with seasoned players and casual players in mind. It will include a rollback netcode for smooth online battles as well as interactive stages that enhance the gameplay.

The game will be released both digitally and physically with pre-orders for the PlayStation and Switch versions available right now from various retailers. Interestingly, the physical editions will be released on the same day as the digital so those wanting the retro experience won’t be waiting any longer. Lastly, to celebrate the announcement of the console ports, developer Statera Studios and publisher PQube have a 20% off sale on the Steam version.
