We last reported on Replaced, a retro-inspired narrative cyberpunk adventure title, in March this year when the indie hit surpassed 850,000 wishlists. The game has since been released and has been critically acclaimed by players and critics. Now, Replaced is gearing up to launch on mobile, with the Android port releasing on December 8th, 2026.
In a press statement, the developer and publisher said. “Sad Cat Studios and Atari are pleased to announce that their atmospheric narrative-driven cyberpunk adventure, REPLACED, is coming to Android on December 8th. The mobile version is part of the Google Play Games program, offering seamless gaming across mobile, tablets and PC via a single purchase.”
The statement continued with, “The Android version, ported by Poland-based studio The Knights of U, will allow a new audience to experience the same jaw-dropping cinematic visuals and immersive atmosphere that those players loved on its original PC and console release. REPLACED has been played by over 900,000 players across all platforms since its release in Spring 2026.”
Replaced is a narrative-driven 2.5D platformer blending cinematic exploration with fluid, free-flow action. Immerse yourself in an alternate 1980s America reshaped by nuclear catastrophe and meet the downtrodden of Phoenix City as you struggle to survive. Soak up the game’s rich atmosphere as you walk the streets of Phoenix-City and become a part of the stories of the citizens you meet in this dark cyberpunk thriller.
