Retro-inspired Chibi ninja title out now on consoles

One of our favourite retro publishers Ratalaika Games has announced another budget title. Chibi Ninja Shino-kun Treasure of Demon Tower is a new action platformer out now on Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation priced at $6.99. The game is inspired by Japanese ninja video games of the 80s and 90s and certainly has the look from the era with its 8-bit graphics and music.

In the game, players will Jump off walls, run on ceilings, and utilise the hook shot. Over its 100 levels, our ninja hero will take on zombies, demons, ghosts and dudes with shields. Also, the publisher has confirmed Chibi Ninja Shino-kun: Treasure of Demon Tower has the “obligatory lava level.”

There is also an added time attack mode for those looking for some more longevity following the main game. In the press release, Rataliaka Games also said that it “is a fast and smooth retro platformer in which you climb a giant tower while dodging enemies, traps and other obstacles.”
