Retro-inspired Horror Print I Love U Out Now Om Steam

Print I Love U is a new retro-inspired psychological horror visual novel from developer Unknown and publisher Red Hog Studio. It’s out now on Steam and combines retro aesthetics with modern gameplay that “draws players into a narrative centered around a mysterious, unfinished game discovered on a second-hand computer”.

The story of Print I Love U begins with a second-hand laptop of mysterious origins. Its previous owner has long since disappeared, but hidden deep within the hard drive is a short game that seemingly no one knows about. A message at the beginning of the game reveals the first clue: the game was made by its developer for a girl named Alice Print.

“This project represents my exploration of the ‘small scale, strong emotions’ creative philosophy,” said Unknown developer Claudio Moltedo. “I wanted to deliver a powerful emotional impact through a deliberately concise experience, inspired by games that prove you don’t need hundreds of hours to leave a lasting impression on players.”

Key Features in Print I Love U:

Compact narrative experience completable in approximately 15-20 minutes

Multiple endings and hidden narrative paths that reveal new story fragments

Three integrated minigames woven into the psychological horror narrative

Hand-drawn character animations and pixelated art combining retro and contemporary

Fully original soundtrack with narrative-driven compositions
