Retro-inspired platformer Hyper Mirror Run out now on consoles

Retro publisher Ratalaika Games has announced that its new platformer Hyper Mirror Run has released today to Switch, PlayStation and Xbox priced at $4.99. In the game, players navigate through mirrored worlds, mastering precision jumps and wielding weapons to triumph over foes. They will also race head-to-head and can compete locally against friends or challenge the AI opponent. It has 55 levels spread over five worlds and has a variety of difficult settings.

Hyper Mirror Run also features some delightful retro pixel art and an original chiptune soundtrack composed exclusively for the game. The game also has different character skins that allow players to express their style while they perform precise jumps at high speed. The game also has a great mechanic of collecting gems to increase speed, which may mean the difference between winning or losing against opponents. To round out the experience, each world features a boss that will truly test players’ skills, as well as weapons to give an edge during levels.
