Rogue Eclipse is a new 3D arcade shooter from developer Huskcrafts and publisher Outersloth, out now on Steam. The developer has described Rogue Eclipse as a “classic arcade space action” title, and containing “ epic roguelike” gameplay. Players take control of a starfighter and “strap into the cockpit for the thrill of high speeds and an explosive spectacle”.
The developer has also said that Rogue Eclipse is “a love letter inspired by the greatest arcade spacefighters and the sci-fi frontiers of Arabesque Futurism” and that it “brings the best of arcade flight speed and spectacle to a fresh epic sci-fi setting”. Players’ll control a pilot on the front lines of the war for humanity’s future. They’ll blast and burn their way through swarms of starfighters and merciless armadas in the deepest reaches of the galaxy. They will also delve into hulking enemy behemoths and battle their way through destructible environments, tuning their starfighter and honing their skills to vanquish a malevolent evil that spans the cosmos.
