RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic Queueing Up On Xbox, Switch 2, And PS4

Today, Atari announced that RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, bringing the fan-favorite theme park simulation experience to even more players. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is now available across all eighth and ninth-generation consoles – ensuring both longtime fans and new players can experience the game that helped shape the theme park building genre wherever they play.

Created by game designer Chris Sawyer, the game helped define the simulation genre and inspired generations of players with its deep management systems and creative freedom. With Today’s launch, Atari continues to bring these influential management simulations to modern consoles, preserving the gaming experience that has captivated millions of players worldwide.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic combines the content from RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, featuring 95 scenarios and the signature piece-by-piece building tools that allow players to design elaborate roller coasters, manage park operations, and create thriving theme park destinations.

The Nintendo Switch 2 edition at $29.99 includes enhanced resolution and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Players who already own the game on the original Nintendo Switch can purchase an upgrade pack for Nintendo Switch 2 for $5. The game retails for $24.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
