Twin-stick Shooter Sektori Blasting To PC And Consoles

Sektori is a new retro-styled twin-stick shooter from Finnish developer Kimmo Lahtinen, set to blast onto Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series on November 18, 2025. Alongside a campaign mode, Sektori features six additional game modes, including a classic mode, an alternate way to play that includes a wide array of mutators to reconfigure your experience into something wholly unpredictable. Players will select an array of upgrades for faster speed, a stronger blaster, additional shields, a bigger boost, more missiles, or a score bonus.

“With Sektori, I wanted to create a shoot ’em up where every run feels familiar, but is still completely unique,” said developer Kimmo Lahtinen. “A game of skill, not memorization. The handcrafted attack waves, levels, and even the bosses are randomized and layered with the upgrade systems in a way that creates an interesting challenge for every run. The aesthetics of the game are very much inspired by techno music. Fast, detailed, colorful, saturated, intense, aggressive.”

Key features:

A five-world campaign mode with dynamically changing levels and tons of enemy variation – including evolving bosses

Alternate ships and configurable upgrade decks to mold your run with

Three difficulty modes suited for all players, including a “Revolution” campaign mode for maximal challenge

Six alternate game modes, like Surge, Gates, and Classic

Varied selection of challenges and achievements
