Simon The Sorcerer Origins Story Uncovered in New Trailer

We recently reported on Simon The Sorcerer Origins, a new point-and-click game from publisher ININ Games, being developed by Smallthing Studios. It’s set for release this October and for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4/5Xbox, Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck. Since then, a new trailer, showcasing the story in the adventure tale, has been unveiled. The video brings to life some of the great storytelling expected by this series’ pedigree.

One takeaway from the glimpses of the story shown so far is how it’s clear that high-quality presentation is important to the developer. ININ Games said. “It has been well chronicled that the game has several stops and starts, but throughout development, the quality and entertainment value have been unsurpassed with animation, hand-drawn artwork, and music created by a professional team whose work has been seen via several Disney and Netflix projects.”

Simon The Sorcerer Origins’ storyline has been written with the assistance and input from Simon Woodroffe, along with his father Mike, who was the lead creator and designer of the original Simon The Sorcerer series back in the 90s, which were huge hits. The animation and acting are superb in this snippet of story that also highlights the quality of the graphics and fantastic sound design shown so far.
