SN Operator brings SNES to PC

The SN Operator is a forthcoming new bit of hardware that has been described as “like a cartridge slot for your computer”. To use the SN Operator, you simply plug the device into your computer, and then you can insert a SNES or Super Famicom cartridge into the SN Operator’s cartridge slot to play the game on your PC.

Included with the SN Operator are: the SN Operator device itself; a USB-C cable; Playback software; a setup Instructions flyer; and a one-year limited warranty.

The SN Operator even offers SNES mouse and Super Scope support, but controlled using your standard computer mouse, with no additional hardware required!

The SN Operator comes with its own emulator app that syncs saves across the cartridge and your computer, as well as offering controller support, co-op play support, and cheats. Versions of the SN Operator emulator app are available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. Alternatively, you can use the SN Operator device with other SNES emulators. SN Operator can even detect counterfeit cartridges, helping you to ensure that your collection is 100% legit!

SN Operator is manufactured by Epilogue, and pre-orders for the SN Operator are open now,  prior to shipping in April 2026, with limited quantities being made available.
