Sonic Wings Reunion, the long-awaited sequel in the Aero Fighters series, has officially added a PlayStation 4 version alongside its previously announced platforms (PS5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and arcades). Publisher SUCCESS Corporation and developer Hamster Corporation also released the debut trailer, showcasing its classic vertical-scrolling shoot-’em-up gameplay.

The game is set to launch on May 29, 2025, in Japan and will feature multilingual support, including English, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese. Players can choose from eight characters as they battle through eight stages set in real-life cities. The game will also include local two-player co-op.

This marks the first new entry in the franchise in 26 years and brings back original staff members to ensure an authentic experience for fans of the shoot-’em-up genre.
