Retro-inspired Sci-Fi RPG Stellar Tactics Launches Into Full Release

Stellar Tactics is a retro-inspired turn-based sci-fi RPG from developer Don Wilkins and publisher Maverick Games. It’s out now on Steam, GOG, and Humble, priced at $17.99, with an early-bird 10% discount currently running. The game has been in development for over ten years and was first released into early access in 2016.

The developer says that “Stellar Tactics is “a return to the excitement and wonder of classic RPGs featuring a compelling narrative, deep character customization, strategic squad-based ground combat, and rewarding open-world space exploration”. Players will manage their squad, equip ships, take on turn-based combat, and explore over 160,000 star systems. Stellar Tactics gives players the freedom to live in a massive procedural universe on a mission of discovery, exploration, and unfettered progression.
