Sunset Survival: Miami is a new top-down survival shooter from developer Ajvar Studio releasing on Steam in 2027. A new trailer has just been released alongside the game’s unveiling of the gameplay that will allow players to blast their way through enemy hordes, upgrade their base, and unlock powerful skills.
“We wanted to blend our love of Scarface, Vice City, and Miami Vice with classic zombie horror, and that is how we got the idea for Sunset Survival: Miami,” shared Ajvar Studio founder Zoran Domuzin. “The main idea was to take a beautiful sun-drenched summer paradise and make it a playground for the undead. We wanted to step back from the dark and gritty tropes of the genre and just have fun with it. So, we made our main protagonist a walking Florida Man headline and decided to explore the apocalypse through his perspective. We are so thrilled to finally share our vision with the players.”
