Penguin Mug Games has announced its 2D puzzle platformer Super Puzzled Cat will be launching on Steam on the 13th of January 2025. Super Puzzled Cat is a 2D precision platformer that allows players to use save states at will, giving them the ability to experiment with different pathways and strategies without losing progress.
Players will control Puzzled Cat using jetpacks, portals, bombs, gum, and more to conquer treacherous platforming stages. Multiple endings will enable players to explore a world full of challenges and secrets. It will require many attempts to find the correct path and all the endings. As the game unfolds, Puzzled Cat will travel through time and space and reach enlightenment.
Developer SP has been gradually developing Super Puzzled Cat for the past nine years and the release date announcement is a dream come true. “I’ve wanted to make games from way back, playing SNES games as a kid,” SP said, “Playing games like Final Fantasy 6 and Super Mario World weren’t just fun for the gameplay themselves, I remember looking at the carts and really wanting to do it all myself.”
