Telenet Shooting Collection II Brings PC Engine Shumps to Switch

Telenet Shooting Collection II packshot

Telenet Shooting Collection II is a collection of four PC Engine shoot ‘em ups from the 1990s,  that will launch on Nintendo Switch on August 28, 2025.

The games included in Telenet Shooting Collection II will be Kiaidan 00 (1992), Final Zone II (1990), Browning (1992), and Legion (1990).

Telenet Shooting Collection II is, perhaps unsurprisingly, the follow-up to Telenet Shooting Collection, which was released on Nintendo Switch back in 2023, and which also included four Telenet shoot ‘em ups from the 1990s, which were Granada (Genesis), Gaiares (Genesis), Avenger (PC Engine), and Psychic Storm (PC Engine).

Telenet Japan were a Japanese video game developer who were active from 1983 to 2007, when they filed for bankruptcy. However, Sunsoft have owned Telenet Japan’s back catalog since 2009.

While only a Japanese release has been confirmed for Telenet Shooting Collection II so far, we hope to also see a worldwide release for the collection, which seems very likely, as the first collection did receive a worldwide release via the Nintendo eshop.

The Japanese release of Telenet hooting Collection II will be available in two different physical editions, a Regular Version that just includes the game, costing 7,480 yen, and a Limited Version costing 14,080 yen, which also includes a soundtrack CD, featuring OSTs of the games.
