We first reported on The Last Gas Station back in February when the pixel art gas station sim was looking for playtesters. Now, developer Alawar has announced that The Last Gas Station will launch on Steam on April 28th, 2026. The game has been described as a cozy gas station simulator, and players will take over from the previous owner, who has mysteriously disappeared.

Players will restore the gas station to its former glory by fixing or replacing old pumps and decorating the shops. There are also the dangers of nighttime lurking that may explain what happened to the previous owner.
