We’ve been following the release of Toxic Crusaders, a new retro-style beat ‘em-up from Retroware. It was due to be released on PC, Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation on December 4th, 2025, but has now been pushed back to 2026. However, in the meantime, Toxy fans can still get their ooze fix, as the game’s soundtrack has been released in full on most major streaming services.
While this is a great way to get in the mood for some mopping, those wanting to keep it proper retro can order a shiny CD to spin in ancient tech. The CDs are available right now, and the extreme retro vinyl version is also available, with pre-orders now live. The vinyl comes as a double album and is expected to ship around March 2026. Hopefully, the game will also be out by then
There is also some additional merch, such as posters and pin badges, to order from Retroware. Nothing screams retro Christmas quite like some Toxic Crusaders merch!
