In January this year, we brought you the news that developer Edia has licensed nine classic titles to Shinyuden for re-release. Traysia is one of the first games to get a new physical edition, and publishers Shinyuden, along with Ratalaika Games, have announced the pre-order is now live until the 29th August 2025. Traysia was originally released in 1992 for the Mega Drive and sees a young Roy take on the might of a group of evil wizards that must be stopped.
This new version of Traysia has been given some enhancements thanks to a new translation that will improve the overall experience, and it’s also the first time the game has been translated into Spanish, so a new audience can enjoy the story. The new special edition comes complete with a cart and manual as well as extras to celebrate the new release of the game, over thirty years since it first came out.
