20 Best Programs for the ZX Spectrum Book Seeks Funding

20 Best Programs for the ZX Spectrum

Originally published in 1983, 20 Best Programs for the ZX Spectrum is set for a reprint as well as a fresh edit and update. The book was written by Speccy legend Andrew Hewson, who now heads up Huey Games. The book is being painstakingly scanned and updated while a crowdfunding campaign takes place on Kickstarter to make sure enough books can be printed. At the time of posting this news, the campaign was already more than two-thirds complete.

20 Best Programs for the ZX Spectrum features a collection of useful, interesting, and entertaining BASIC programs for the Sinclair machine. Perfect for new ZX Spectrum of ZX Spectrum Next owners to cut their teeth in the world of programming for the Speccy. This new version of the book is being corrected and remastered, including bug fixes and improvements to some of the programs courtesy of DarkBlueMonkey.

The third in our recent series of ZX Spectrum books, 20 Best Programs for the ZX Spectrum, completes the trilogy, alongside 40 Best Machine Code Routines for the ZX Spectrum and Hewson’s Helpline for the ZX Spectrum. All three books can be ordered through this new campaign.
