Pokemon fans and game design lovers should take a look at this project for a refreshing twist on a beloved series.

If Nintendo remade these games using the “HD-2D” look of Octopath Traveler, we would see a blend of retro Super NES character sprites and textures with modern polygonal environments and high-definition effects. It’s unclear if there will be a public release.
