Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping is a pixel art desktop game inspired by classic Rusty’s Retirement and Webfishing. Developed by Lunheim Studios, a small developer team from Germany and Switzerland formed in early 2019, and published by Future Friends. Players take control of a fish tank that grows fish in real time and can be minimized to allow work to be continued. It’s out now on Steam, priced under $5.
In a press release, Future Friends said. “Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping is a real-time online aquarium simulator where players can hatch and sell fish, decorate their aquariums, go fishing, and visit friends’ aquatic spaces. The game encourages daily engagement with bite-sized sessions that are designed to be relaxing and rewarding without the stress of timers.”
