Back in June, we brought you the news that Absolum was being released later in 2025. Since then, developer Dotemu has announced that the game will also be available physically for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on October 17th, 2025. A standard version will be released alongside a special one that includes numerous extras to keep collectors happy. The standard includes a copy of the game as well as a digital soundtrack.
All the digital editions of Absolum will be released on October 9th, 2025, including the digital-only Steam release. Pre-orders for the physical are live now on publisher Silver Lining Interactive’s website. In a press statement, the publisher said. “Silver Lining Interactive has officially announced that Absolum, the explosive new rogue ‘em up from the creators of Streets of Rage 4, will launch physically for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on 17th October, 2025. The physical editions will hit shelves just a few days after the digital release across PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.”
