Retro-inspired Lumo 2 Puzzling Up For Release This October

Back in August, we reported on the critically acclaimed Lumo getting a demake on Amiga. Now developer Triple Eh? and publisher Numskull Games has announced that a sequel to the original 2016 hit is heading to PC and consoles on October 17th, 2025. It will be released physically, priced from around $40, and digitally from $25.99. Lumo 2 will be available in digital formats for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 will be available via select EU retailers.

In a press statement, Numskull Games said. “The isometric icon is back! Numskull Games is thrilled to announce that Lumo 2, the sequel to the 2016 indie hit Lumo, comes to consoles and PC on October 17th, 2025. Rewind the cassette and fall head over heels into a love letter to the trailblazing days of early ‘80s & ‘90s British videogames with this puzzling platformer.”

In Lumo 2, players can experience:

Retro‑inspired puzzle platforming – A modern sequel built on the charm and artistry of early isometric British classics

Classic Collectibles – Collect 25 vintage cassettes and 20 ducks hidden in inventive locations, rewarding exploration and persistence

Evolving Gameplay – Traverse over 100 shifting dimensions and portals; mini-games and genre-bending levels surprise around every corner
