Broke Studios’ Homebrew Factory physical publishing platform, on which we’ve reported previously, always has a selection of great new games for retro formats seeking pre-orders.
With Homebrew Factory, games must receive a certain number of pre-orders before production of the game is guaranteed.
Titles currently up for pre-order that have already crossed the minimum pre-order threshold are: NES platformer Bill the Dog, on which we’ve reported previously; the Genesis/Mega Drive title Monster Chess; the Genesis/Mega Drive adventure game Elansar, on which we’ve reported previously; the Game Boy Color shoot ‘em Skelost, on which we’ve also reported previously; and the NES platformer Torgman Adventures Part 2.
Games with live pre-order campaigns currently running on Homebrew Factory that still haven’t met their minimum pre-order amounts are: the Genesis/Mega Drive puzzler Demon Girls, which currently has 10 pre-orders, requiring another 15 orders to go into production; the Game Boy adventure title The Year I Wrote You, which currently has 16/20 pre-orders; the Genesis/Mega Drive platformer Escape 2049, which we’ve covered previously, and which currently stands at 14/25 pre-orders; the Game Boy Color game Trigwa, which currently stands at 3/38 pre-orders; and the Game Boy game Undersea Adventure, which currently stands at 2/10 pre-orders.
