We first reported on Bang² Busters 2 in October last year. The new arcade game from retro publisher PixelHeart has since been through a successful crowdfunding campaign and is now up for pre-order on Dreamcast and Neo Geo. The carts and discs are set to be sent out in June 2026. Everything is covered, including Neo Geo AES and MVS for the Japanese and US markets, as well as Dreamcast ports for Europe, Japan, and the USA.

The original Bang² Busters was a typical platform title developed back in 1994, but it never saw release until much later in 2010. It was first released for the Neo Geo AES, before also being made available for Neo Geo MVS and Neo Geo CD. It saw a further release for the Dreamcast in 2018, and most versions are still available to buy on PixelHeart’s website.
