Beneath is a new retro-styled FPS from developer Camel 101 and publisher Wired Productions. The game is out now on Steam, Epic Store, GOG, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, priced at $16.59, including a 15% launch discount, available for a limited time. Beneath’s release is fresh off the back of its standout showing during Steam Next Fest, where the Beneath demo drew in thousands of deep-sea explorers and earned glowing praise from players.

The new trailer gives players a chilling new look at the underwater horrors that await in this retro-inspired first-person shooter.  It delivers a Lovecraftian first-person survival horror adventure, blending pulse-pounding action, psychological tension, and atmospheric storytelling. From what we’ve seen, it certainly looks like a mix of Doom and Half-Life with some sprinkling of new ideas.
