Bloodgrounds is a new Gladiator roguelite from Croatian developer Exordium that has been receiving positive reviews for its demo released in the summer. The turn-based title now has a new gameplay trailer as well as an updated demo that adds a new class, abilities, weapons, and 8 languages ahead of release. The other news from Exordium is that Bloodgrounds will launch into early access on Steam on November 5th, 2025.
The new trailer and demo allow players to see more of what Bloodgrounds has to offer, highlighting the turn-based brutality, city-building, and gladiatorial management for players to master as they fight for death or glory. The game takes inspiration from classic turn-based strategy titles of old, but seems to be aiming to also keep things fresh with quality-of-life enhancements for modern gaming.
The updated demo contains:
Experience the first five hours of Bloodgrounds, accessing the entire first Age and beyond.
Play as 7 different gladiator classes, unlocking up to five abilities per class.
Train gladiators up to level 7 and unlock new buildings and locations as they progress.
Collect a variety of Common, Rare, and Epic items to assist gladiators in the arena.
Bloodgrounds now supports 8 languages: English, German, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and Japanese
