We’ve been following the story of Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged for some time. The Revolution Software developed point-and-click adventure is a remaster of the original game, and it has been highly praised since its release in November 2024. Since then, an announcement about the physical release has surfaced, and this will surely please retro fans looking to build their physical collections with a true classic.
Publisher Red Art Games has announced that physical versions of Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged will come out on Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox on July 25th, 2025. There was also news that a PlayStation 4 and physical PC version will also be released, which may come as a welcome surprise for many. All of the Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged physical discs/carts will contain the latest version of the game.
The standard edition can be pre-ordered now directly from Red Art Games’ online store and various retailers, with a selection of language variants available. There is also a deluxe version, only available from Red Art Games, which includes a cover sleeve, pixel keychain, CD soundtrack, and an art booklet.
