Cat Girl Survivor is a Vampire Survivor clone that started out life on mobile phones before being ported to the PlayStation in 2024. It is now getting a huge PS5 update that will “add deeper gameplay and enhanced visuals”, according to developer Minimum Studio. The update will also add some new voice art from several Japanese stars.

This update introduces a brand-new skill combination system and an improved level-up mechanic, offering players deeper strategic gameplay and more rewarding progression. Players will also notice enhanced character expressions in Story Mode, alongside redesigned audio elements, including new intro music and item sounds that enrich the game’s immersive atmosphere.

Players wield powerful magic and lightning-fast casting skills to mow down endless enemy waves, take on flashy boss fights, and recruit a team of equally cute companions to survive the chaos. Furthermore, the game lands with full multilingual support, English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and even features a Japanese voiceover right out of the gate.
